This was inspired by William Bouguereau Work - La Charite

I was reading an article about the artist, and it said at one time his own popularity caused his work to be dismissed. It was not until after his death that his work took on real meaning.

Well this is my attempt to show a homage to this great artist.


This is actually a revised version of this work. The original work that I created was too weak; in my opinion. I will continue to work until I get better.

Thank you... I was thinking about making some revisions to this work... Adding some dirt to give the childern a greater look of poverty/realism.
